This exquisite litter (mostly black and white), BayKings' 10th, was born to first time mother Belle (Liberty Belle) just a few days before Juneteenth of 2020, amidst swirling social unrest and disharmony. The timing of this entirely Tricolor Cavalier litter made it seem an appropriate moment for a tribute to progress made to date and the enormous work still to be done to rectify American race relations along the lines set forth in McCartney's and Stevie Wonder's rendition of Ebony and Ivory (live together in perfect harmony). America is not there yet, but the sentiment is stirring and perfect for the litter theme of the most loving breed ever, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
The four Tricolor pups shown are named according to the piano-themed litter monikor, BayKings Ebony and Ivory, which is the lead-in for each name. So the names of the puppies, after that lead-in, are: Harmony on a Steinway; Harmony on a Baldwin; Harmony on a Phoenix; and Harmony on an Ellington (the latter of whose owner will call him Duke!).
