About BayKings Cavaliers
I learned about Cavaliers from our daughter, a Virginia Beach pediatrician whose husband gave her a Ruby male Cavalier for her and her four children, after she did a lot of research on dogs to find an affectionate, safe with kids family dog. I began with one Tricolor Cavalier male I named Morgan. Morgan was so perfect that friends met through Morgan's breeder, and people who saw him at ringside at dog shows, began to tell us that he belonged in the ring. So I took some classes, with Morgan, and entered him in competition at an outdoor show in Chesapeake. First time out, he won his class and winner's dog! Still, he was very young, so I kept him out of shows until he turned 20 months old, and within 3 months, he became an AKC champion.
When Morgan turned 4 years old, I began to wonder if I could have him sire a litter so I could have a pup of his to carry on his linage after he passed. Coincidentally, I was offered an opportunity to purchase a rescue Cavalier Ruby female named Autumn who had had a difficult, multiple owner start in life. When I met Autumn, from day one, she adopted me rather than the other way around. When Autumn met Morgan, it was instant love. She and Morgan were constant companions, kissing each other and cuddling. I finally allowed them to mate, and she gave birth to four beautiful females, three Rubies and a Black and Tan. I named them after the girls in "Little Women" -- Meg, Jo (Josie), Amy and Beth. Amy and Beth were adopted together by a nice couple who had recently lost their older Cavalier. I kept Meg (a Ruby) and Josie (the Black and Tan).
Now I was hooked on not just Cavaliers, but breeding them as well, which I found a magical experience -- both for the whelping and raising from birth, and for the joy and love they bring to their new owners. So when Meg and Josie came of age, I bred them both with a beautiful Blenheim named Rumor who later became an AKC champion. The result: In 2015, Meg gave birth to one female Blenheim and two male pups, a Blenheim and a Ruby; and Josie had five male pups, two Blenheims, two Rubies and one Black and Tan.
Meg was subsequently rehomed to a family with a teen who needed the happiness and love Meg brought her. Josie and Rumor went on to produce three more litters, in 2016, 2017 and 2018, and then we retired Josie
from our breeding program after giving us 22 absolutely beautiful pups. BayKings Cavaliers who have earned championships in 2018 are: AKC CH Hariett Tubman (handled by Tyler Mills), UKC CH Charming Libra (Libby), UKC CH Master McGregor, UKC CH
Sybil Ludington, and UKC CH US Opera Diva Renee Fleming (Diva), all shown by breeder Eileen Gower. When I am not available to show, our pups are shown by handler Tyler
Mills.

I am interested in a female pup. I found your business card while “quarantine” cleaning. I met you somewhere, you had a pup in your handbag) But I cannot remember where we were! I live in NC. Thanks!
